The defending champions are nearly back to work
New York enters 2026–27 as the defending NBA champion after a 53–29 regular season and a title run that ended the franchise’s 53-year championship drought. The core remains built around Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, Mikal Bridges, OG Anunoby and Josh Hart.
